S S Rajamouli thanks his team that brought the ‘Varanasi’ title announcement video to life!
Director S.S. Rajamouli, the celebrated filmmaker behind blockbuster films like Baahubali, took a moment on his social‑media channel to thank the people who helped him release the new Varanasi announcement video.
On Monday, Rajamouli posted a simple thank‑you on X (formerly Twitter) that read:
“I thank my fantastic team: Srinivas Mohan – VFX supervisor, P.S. Vinodh – DOP, Mohan – production designer, M.M. Keeravaani – music composer, Rama – costume designer, Deepak – animation supervisor, Pratheek – concept design and development, and Thammi Raju – editor for helping me bring this video to life.”
He also praised the VFX houses that made the teaser look spectacular.
“Thanks to Mistyman Studios for their exceptional VFX under creative director Alex Pi. Your expertise brought the shots to life. Many thanks also to Viskefi, Phantom FX and Gimpville for their outstanding work to the very last minute. #Varanasi.”
A day after the teaser hit audiences, Rajamouli wrote a heartfelt note of gratitude to fans. He praised the supporters who travelled long distances for the #Varanasi Globetrotter event and walked nearly 3 km in cold weather, despite some technical glitches. “Your patience never wavered, and you’re as disciplined as your idol,” he said. He thanked every Telugu‑cinema fan who stood by the team on the ground.
“We appreciate all the love, accolades and applause for the Varanasi Announcement Video,” the director added. “Our whole @VaranasiMovie team is grateful to all of you.”
