Around the corner, several loud bangs punctuate the tense atmosphere while at least a dozen students clutch each other, eyes wide with fear. The cause of the noises remains unknown, but as the final boom echoes, officers in SWAT gear quickly flood the room, weapons drawn.
One officer turns to the students, saying, “Obviously there’s something going on, we’re here to help you… just listen to our commands we’ll get you out of here now.” The squad instructs everyone to grab their belongings as fast as possible, then begins escorting them from the library.
Paralysed bags and anxious faces fill the frame as the students scramble to collect their things before the footage ends. Amid the chaos, two people have died and eight others are critically wounded.
