Venkatesh wraps up shoot for ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’; calls working with Chiranjeevi an absolute joy
On December 3 LatestNewsX‑reported that Telugu heavyweight Venkatesh had wrapped up his scenes in Anil Ravipudi’s highly‑anticipated family‑drama Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. The actor expressed his delight on X, writing, “Wrapped up my part today for #ManaShankaraVaraPrasadGaru, and what an incredible experience it has been! Working with my favourite @KChiruTweets was an absolute joy and this film has left me with so many lovely memories. It was long overdue to share the screen with ‘Megastar Chiranjeevi’, and I’m so glad @AnilRavipudi finally brought us together for this special film. The film—previously referred to as #Mega157—features Chiranjeevi opposite Nayanthara, marking the latter’s third collaboration with the megastar after Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather. A highlight to fans is a vibrant dance sequence shot in Gachibowli that showcases Venkatesh and Chiranjeevi together for the first time. Bheems Ceciroleo crafted the energetic number, surrounded by more than 500 dancers who turned the set into a colorful carnival of rhythm and movement.
Production credits include Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments, with Smt. Archana overseeing. The music is handled by Bheems Ceciroleo, cinematography by Sameer Reddy, while Tammiraju and A S Prakash manage editing and art direction respectively. The story—co‑written by S Krishna and G Adi Narayana—heads toward a Sankranti 2026 release.
