Chennai’s buzzing with excitement over the audio launch of Dhanush’s directorial venture, Idli Kadai, held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium. During the event, Dhanush couldn’t stop praising his co-star Arun Vijay, who steps into the shoes of the film’s powerful antagonist. Dhanush called it an "absolute privilege" to direct Arun Vijay, highlighting the actor’s incredible commitment.
Recalling a intense fight scene, Dhanush shared how things got real on set. "We were both in the air for the sequence, and I had to throw a punch. By mistake, my hand hit his mouth," Dhanush explained to the cheering crowd. Arun Vijay started bleeding from the impact, but instead of halting everything, he just grabbed an ice cube, took a quick break, and jumped right back in. "If it were anyone else, we’d have stopped shooting for two hours. But Arun said, ‘Let’s go.’ He’s so dedicated and sincere," Dhanush added with a smile.
