Mumbai, Dec 14 (LatestNewsX) – Bollywood’s two most chameleon‑like stars, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, were spotted indulging in a casual bite together, a fun moment captured on video and shared across social media.
During the clip, Kher turned to Boman and asked, “How did you like today’s food?” Boman’s reply was playful: although the meal was decent, the company could have been better, teasing his friend with a good‑natured jab. He added with a laugh, “the company was superb sir, superb.”
The pair reminisced about memorable scenes from their well‑received film “Khosla Ka Ghosla.” Boman hinted that they’ll be back on set in January, suggesting that the sequel, “Khosla Ka Ghosla 2,” might see production start sometime next year. The post’s caption read, “Company could have been BETTER! Khosla meets Khurana!”
Producer Savita Raj Hiremath recently confirmed the sequel’s green light. While Dibakar Banerjee will not return as director, the helm is believed to pass to Raghav Juyal, known for “Gyaarah Gyaarah,” and Umesh Bisht, who directed “Pagglait.”
For the new film, Kher, Boman, and Ranvir Shorey are expected to reprise their original roles. Although Huma Qureshi was first announced as the lead actress, she reportedly withdrew from the project.
The original movie, produced by Savita Raj Hiremath under Taandav Films and backed by Ronnie Screwvala of UTV Motion Pictures, was written by Jaideep Sahni. It featured a cast that includes Kher, Boman, Parvin Dabas, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, and Tara Sharma, among others.
“Khosla Ka Ghosla” tells the story of Kamal Kishore Khosla (Kher), a middle‑class Delhi family man who, together with his relatives, fights to recover land that a builder, Khurana (Boman), unlawfully seized.
The film was later adapted into Tamil as “Poi Solla Porom” and into Kannada as “Rame Gowda vs Krishna Reddy.”
