Two Ryanair flight attendants suffered serious injuries during a scary bout of turbulence on a flight from mainland Spain to the island of Mallorca. The plane carried about 180 passengers from Vitoria to Palma when things took a sudden turn.
Everything seemed fine until the aircraft hit rough air from a storm front as it descended. The jolt sent one attendant slamming into the ceiling, while another got hit by a service trolley she was pushing down the aisle. A few other crew members also ended up hurt as they walked through the cabin for final safety checks, according to reports from The Sun and The Standard.
Once the plane landed safely at Son Sant Joan Airport in Palma, emergency teams rushed to help the injured staff. Details on how badly the flight attendants are hurt remain unclear right now. Ryanair hasn’t commented yet, but we’ve reached out for more info.
