Mumbai, Maharashtra – On the late night of Wednesday, October 9, a sharp crash on Mumbai’s Western Express Highway jolted commuters and sparked fresh anger over reckless driving. A Porsche, reportedly speeding to keep up with a BMW, lost control and slammed into a concrete divider. The Porsche driver was badly hurt, but thankfully no one else on the road was killed or severely injured.
The incident hatched from a near‑fence‑jumping highway race, according to a local witness who saw the two cars racing side‑by‑side. Fat‑white mirrors reveal a once‑sparkling blue Porsche that is now a wreck on the highway shoulder.
