The two friends first crossed paths in 2000, when both were contestants in the Miss India pageant. Dia once helped Priyanka with makeup in the bathroom—a story the “Dostana” star has shared on several occasions. Earlier this year, they were spotted together in New York. Dia posted a photo of the pair holding water bottles in a park and wrote, “Love your #travellingbottle. Love you more,” tagging Priyanka and adding #UNGA.
