Haryana: 4 killed as car collides with road-roller at Jammu-Katra Expressway in Rohtak

Sonipat, Haryana – On Saturday night, a tragic accident on the Jammu‑Katra Expressway in Rohtak left four men dead when a car hit a parked road‑roller.

The victims were all from the same village and had just finished a business meeting about the tile industry. While heading back to the village, the vehicle collided with a road‑roller that was stationed on the roadside for ongoing construction work on Rohtak Road.

Senior officials said the impact was severe. Sub‑Inspector Devendar confirmed that the four men, including Somveer – the son of rural president Balwan Ranga – died at the scene. The incident has sparked an investigation, but key details are still emerging.

Authorities are still looking into how the car struck the machinery and whether any safety protocols were breached. Residents of the area are waiting for more information as the investigation continues.
