Rapper Cardi B is all about growing her family and has a hilarious reason for wanting more kids. The 32-year-old star, famous for her hit "Am I the Drama?", spilled the beans on the upcoming season 4 premiere of The Jennifer Hudson Show next week. As a proud mom to three little ones, she shared some fun insights about parenting and her kids’ personalities.
In a sneak peek shared by People magazine, Cardi B opened up to host Jennifer Hudson about why she’s eyeing more children. Get this: she joked that the more kids you have, the less chance you end up in a nursing home! "It’s like the more kids you have, the less of a possibility you go to a home. One of them is going to wipe my b***," she said with a laugh, talking about her ex Offset, with whom she shares her children.
Cardi B and Offset are parents to son Wave Set Cephus, who’s 4, daughters Kulture Kiari Cephus, 7, and the youngest, Blossom, who’s just 12 months old. The rapper couldn’t stop gushing about how each kid mirrors her own vibe. "My son, he’s funny like me, and he does a lot of faces that I do, and then he’s a little bad," she explained. As for Kulture, "She’s very girly like me. Like, she’s very… she got a little sass. But she’s a good girl."
When it comes to baby Blossom, Cardi B admitted she’s still figuring things out. "I’m still learning the baby. I’m still learning her. We still trying to figure her out," she told the 43-year-old host.
Cardi B also emphasized keeping her kids grounded by exposing them to real life beyond their bubble. "They have a lot of cousins and a lot of my friends. They are still outside. They are still in the hood and everything," she said. Recently, they visited the Dominican Republic, where her grandma made them help with chores. "I want them to know that it’s like there’s another world out there that’s not your world," the Cardi B family update added, showing her down-to-earth approach to motherhood.
