Pregnant Cardi B’s boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, seen leaving hospital with baby carrier 4 months prior to paternity suit
Stefon Diggs, the New England Patriots wide receiver and boyfriend of pregnant rapper Cardi B, made headlines recently when videos surfaced of him leaving a New York City hospital with a baby carrier. This sighting happened back on May 11—exactly four months before he got hit with a paternity lawsuit.
In the footage obtained by TMZ, Diggs folds up a car seat and loads it into an SUV parked outside the hospital. An unidentified woman sits inside the vehicle while he fiddles with the baby gear. Page Six confirmed the woman wasn’t Aileen Lopera, the one who filed the paternity suit against him.
Lopera, who goes by Lord Gisselle on Instagram and works as a Fashion Nova ambassador, kicked off the legal drama in December 2024. She filed court papers claiming Diggs, 31, is the father of her unborn child at the time. Lopera wants full legal and physical custody, plus visitation rights only for Diggs. She’s also asking him to foot the bill for all her pregnancy costs, birth expenses, and legal fees.
Their daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, arrived on April 2. Diggs responded to the suit in July, saying he’s “not certain” he’s the dad. He pushed for a DNA test to settle it. If the results prove he’s the father, Diggs wants joint legal and physical custody, plus an even split on all those pregnancy, birth, and attorney costs.
Lopera’s lawyer, Tamar Arminak, told Page Six, “I can confirm that is not my client in the video and no car seat has been provided to her. My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs finally meets, acknowledges, and provides for the infant daughter they share.”
The timing adds extra drama. Just one day after that hospital video dropped, Diggs went public with his relationship with Cardi B. This week, the 32-year-old rapper announced she’s expecting a baby with him—her fourth child overall. Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, already has three kids with her estranged husband, Offset. Diggs also shares an 8-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Reps for Diggs and Lopera haven’t commented yet on the latest buzz. As the paternity case unfolds, fans are watching closely amid all this celebrity baby news.
