Bulldozer action launched in Bhopal over ‘love jihad’ case; homes of accused targeted

Bulldozer Action Targets Accused’s Homes in Bhopal Love Jihad Case

In a bold move, authorities in Bhopal have launched bulldozer operations against the homes of key accused in a shocking love jihad and sexual exploitation case. The action focuses on the residences of Sahil and Saad (also known as Shamsuddin alias Saad), with heavy police presence ensuring everything stays under control.

The case involves Farhan, Sahil, Saad, and others accused of sexually assaulting, blackmailing, and forcing religious conversions on Hindu students at a private engineering college. Victims say the men pretended to be Hindus to win their trust, secretly recorded explicit videos, and used them to extort money and silence the girls. This scandal has sparked massive public outrage and intense legal battles, highlighting serious issues of women’s safety in educational spaces.

SDM Ravish Srivastava shared an update: "We received complaints against three people. Our team is now handling actions against two of them, and we’re almost done with the work."

One major target is Club-90, a restaurant the accused allegedly used for their exploitative activities. Bulldozers are tearing down parts of the building claimed to be illegal constructions, and the city’s municipal body has canceled its lease. However, officials note that Farhan’s home isn’t facing demolition right now. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) keeps digging for evidence and hunting down those still on the run.

The entire episode has triggered heated debates and protests across Bhopal, raising alarms about the abuse of young women, religious manipulation, and forced conversions. It shows how authorities are cracking down hard on crimes linked to college campuses, sending a strong message against such exploitation.

A fresh complaint to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has exposed even more disturbing details. It claims several female students fell into traps set by the accused, who hid their true religious identities to build fake relationships through emotional tricks. After gaining trust, they allegedly assaulted the victims sexually.

The nightmare didn’t end there. The men reportedly filmed obscene videos and used them to blackmail the girls, forcing them to stay quiet or face leaks. Victims also faced pressure to convert to Islam and even go through forced marriages, turning a simple college life into a web of fear and coercion.

This love jihad case in Bhopal continues to unfold, with ongoing investigations promising more revelations about protecting students from such predatory tactics.
