PM Modi to Kick Off Major Tribal and Health Drives in Madhya Pradesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday, bringing exciting news for tribal communities and women’s health. He’ll launch the ‘Adi Seva Parv’ campaign, a key part of the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan, which focuses on boosting tribal pride and national service through real development.
This initiative targets key areas like health, education, nutrition, skill development, sanitation, water conservation, and environmental protection to uplift tribal communities. It also rolls out the Tribal Village Action Plan and Tribal Village Vision 2030, creating custom roadmaps for sustainable growth in villages across India.
In a big push for a healthier India, PM Modi will kickstart the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaigns. These nationwide efforts run from September 17 to October 2, setting up over one lakh health camps at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, community health centres (CHCs), district hospitals, and other government spots. It’s the biggest health outreach ever for women and children, delivering preventive care, health promotion, and treatments right in communities.
Expect screenings for anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease, plus services for maternal and adolescent health, immunisation drives, menstrual hygiene education, and mental health support. Experts in gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, psychiatry, and more will join from medical colleges and hospitals to provide specialist care.
To build stronger public health systems, the events include blood donation drives, with donors signing up on the e-Raktkosh portal. Helpdesks will enroll people under schemes like PM-JAY, Ayushman Vaya Vandana, and ABHA, handling card checks and complaints on the spot. Yoga sessions, Ayurveda consultations, and Ayush services will promote overall wellness, while folks get encouraged to become Nikshay Mitras—volunteers supporting TB patients with nutrition and care.
PM Modi will also transfer funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana to nearly ten lakh women, empowering them financially. He’ll launch the Suman Sakhi Chatbot, a handy tool offering maternal health tips to women in remote areas. In a touching moment, he’ll hand a sapling to a woman from a self-help group as part of ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’, inspiring over 10,000 women to start community gardens.
Wrapping up the visit, PM Modi will inaugurate the PM MITRA Textile Park in Dhar—a massive 2,150-acre industrial hub set to transform India’s textile sector. With investment proposals worth Rs 23,140 crore, it promises to create three lakh jobs, support cotton farmers, and ramp up exports. This aligns perfectly with the Prime Minister’s 5F vision: from Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign, driving economic growth for everyone.
