Police in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, have arrested three people—a woman and two men—for the murder of her husband in Mandikonduru village. The shocking case came to light after what started as a suspicious death report.

On September 19, locals found the man’s body with his tongue sticking out, which immediately raised red flags. A post-mortem exam confirmed he died from strangling and throttling, not an accident.

Guntur police jumped into action with a detailed investigation, including a deep dive into CCTV footage. They spotted a suspicious auto rickshaw near the crime scene that night and traced it back to the suspects.

The two men, Venkat and SK Khasim Saida, worked with the victim’s wife to carry out the killing. Police uncovered that Venkat had been in a secret affair with the woman for about three years. Together, they plotted to get rid of her husband so she could claim his property and start a life with Venkat.

After strangling him, the trio dumped the body to make it look like a road accident. But their plan unraveled thanks to the cops’ smart, science-backed probe.

“All three suspects are now in custody and facing intense questioning,” said Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal. The murder investigation in Guntur continues as authorities dig deeper into the illicit relationship and property motive that drove this deadly conspiracy.
