In Bhojpur district, Nitish Kumar introduced 432 schemes worth around Rs 740 crore. Among the key projects, he inaugurated 92 infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, power supply, and building upgrades, totaling Rs 211 crore. Major highlights include expanding the Ara-Buxar four-lane road to six lanes, building storm water drainage systems, widening important roads, and beautifying temples and historical sites.

Some important projects in Bhojpur include the Rs 105 crore four-lane to six-lane road from Ara to Buxar, Rs 87 crore for storm water drainage, and other road widening projects costing over Rs 50 crore each. These projects aim to make traveling easier and improve local infrastructure.

Similarly, in Buxar district, the CM launched 28 schemes valued at over Rs 500 crore. A large part of this funding (Rs 180 crore) was used to improve healthcare facilities, electrical supply, and development projects. Notable projects include strengthening the Buxar-Koilwar Ganga embankment, widening roads to connect villages and towns, and establishing a new music college worth Rs 13.5 crore to promote arts and culture.

During an event in Jagdishpur, Nitish Kumar emphasized that “NDA’s unity is the foundation of Bihar’s development.” He urged party workers to spread awareness about government welfare schemes like increased pension benefits, free electricity up to 125 units, and other initiatives aimed at helping poor and needy families.

The Chief Minister also interacted with local residents and checked ongoing development work at various stalls set up by different government departments. Senior NDA leaders, including Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary and other ministers and legislators, attended the program to support the development efforts.

This wave of new projects is set to bring significant changes to Bhojpur and Buxar, improving roads, healthcare, and basic amenities for thousands of residents.
