The recent Bihar Assembly elections ended with a landslide win for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Karnataka’s BJP president and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra praised the outcome, calling it a clear message that voters trust the NDA and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Vijayendra said the victory shows how voters in Bihar appreciate the teamwork between national leaders—like BJP chief J.P. Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah—and state leaders like Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He added that the election result proves the NDA’s plan works and secured a historic mandate for the party.
The BJP leader also took shots at opposition forces, especially Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi. He accused Rahul Gandhi’s party of spreading false stories about “vote‑rigging” and warned that the Congress will now struggle to stay relevant on Bihar’s political map. Vijayendra said the results send a clear message: feudal or minority‑bank politics will not succeed in a democracy.
He urged Congress leaders, especially in Karnataka and Telangana, to focus on public welfare instead of political rants. According to Vijayendra, the Congress governments in those states have wasted time on divs between personal ambitions and have missed important development work.
“After this result, Congress in Karnataka should work harder for the people and focus on the remaining term,” he said.
Former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa took to the social‑media platform X and welcomed the strong mandate for the NDA. He praised PM Modi’s steady leadership and said the trust in the NDA will help drive development.
Overall, the Bihar election results have strengthened the NDA’s confidence and put Congress in a difficult position both in Bihar and across India.
