Jaipur – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has rolled out a full‑blown strategy for the Anta Assembly bye‑election, announcing a dedicated election committee after revealing its top campaigners.
The party has tapped Jhalawar‑Baran MP Dushyant Singh—son of former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje—to lead the campaign. His appointment signals how seriously the BJP views this contest.
The new election committee mixes lawmakers and ministers: two MPs, nine MLAs and two ministers form the core. In addition, Minister Jogaram Patel will co‑incharge, MLA Shrichand Kripalani and district in‑charge Chhagan Mahur act as joint in‑charges, while Naresh Sikarwar and Mahendra Kumawat handle logistics and day‑to‑day management.
Anta is more than a local seat. It sits inside the Jhalawar‑Baran Lok Sabha area that Dushyant Singh represents, and it has long been part of Raje’s political base. By putting his son in charge, the BJP aims to tap deep‑rooted networks and solidify support in the region.
Sources say the bye‑election carries national prestige for both BJP and Congress in Rajasthan. The result could also shape upcoming Panchayat and municipal polls.
A robust ground team has joined the effort. Senior leaders including Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra Gehlot, Minister Manju Baghmar, and MLAs Radheshyam Bairwa, Suresh Dhakad, Vishwanath Meghwal, Anita Bhadel, Pratap Singhvi, Chandrabhan Singh Akya, and Lalit Meena will push the BJP message across the constituency. Former MLA Banwari Lal Singhal and party veteran Tulsariram Dhakad also play key roles.
With the campaign machinery in full swing and local politics heating up, all attention is on the BJP’s coordinated push led by Dushyant Singh to win the Anta Assembly seat.
