As Bihar’s Assembly elections heat up, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ramping up its game plan to win every seat. In a bold step, the party has brought in 45 special leaders from across India to lead election efforts in the state.

These leaders each take charge of one Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar, and they’ll soon handle Assembly-level tasks too. On average, each one will manage about six Assembly segments, helping connect everyday party workers directly to the top brass.

BJP leaders hashed out this strategy during a key meeting in Patna. Union Home Minister Amit Shah joined forces with Bihar election head Dharmendra Pradhan, state in-charge Vinod Tawde, and other top figures. They assigned roles to the group and sent them out on a mission to deliver victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar.

The “Special 45” draws talent from many states. From Madhya Pradesh come former state president and MP B.D. Sharma and Union Minister Prahlad Patel. Uttar Pradesh sends MPs Satish Gautam and Rajkumar Chahar. Rajasthan contributes Rajendra Rathore, while Chhattisgarh’s MPs Santosh Pandey and Vijay Baghel step up. Delhi offers ex-MP Ramesh Bidhuri and Union Minister Harsh Malhotra. Gujarat has MPs Devusinh Chauhan and Mitesh Patel on board, Haryana brings former MP Sunita Duggal, Jammu & Kashmir features MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Jharkhand includes MPs Manish Jaiswal and Kalicharan Singh, and Odisha’s MP Anant Nayak rounds out the list.

The team also features several former MPs, MLAs, senior party officials, and young leaders.

Party insiders say these experts go beyond just campaigning. They aim to fire up local teams, build stronger booth-level operations, and lock in NDA wins across all seats. BJP leaders believe the hands-on experience of these special coordinators will shake up Bihar’s election scene and boost their chances in the Bihar Assembly polls.
