Raipur – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to fly into Chhattisgarh for a landmark visit on November 1. He will open the new Martyr Veer Narayan Singh Tribal Freedom Fighter Memorial and Museum in Nava Raipur and take part in the state’s 25‑year jubilee, the Silver Jubilee Rajyotsav.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has been sweeping the state’s main event sites, inspecting everything from the Sri Sathya Sai Hospital to the Prajapita Brahmakumari Meditation Centre. “The PM’s day will be a spiritual milestone,” the CM said, adding that the venues must shine with peace and precision.
The memorial is a state‑of‑the‑art tribute to Chhattisgarh’s tribal warriors. With cutting‑edge visual effects, digital projections and QR‑code scanners, visitors will experience historic uprisings like the Halba Vidroh and the Paralkot Rebellion in real time. CM Sai said the museum, born from Modi’s vision, will turn history into an immersive, living story for future generations.
The Rajyotsav main ground has been transformed into a vibrant celebration of Chhattisgarh’s journey since its formation on November 1, 2000. The CM toured the stage, dome areas, exhibition galleries, parking and public access routes, and then posted photos on X (formerly Twitter) sharing that the Prime Minister will also open the newly built Vidhan Sabha building and launch the State Festival.
The state has declared November 1 a holiday for all schools and colleges, inviting students and families to join the festivities. Cultural troupes, tribal art exhibitions and development showcases are planned across all 33 districts, underscoring Chhattisgarh’s resilience and progress.
With Modi’s arrival, the memorial and the silver‑jubilee celebrations promise to be a page‑turning moment for Chhattisgarh and its citizens alike.
