Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Launches Rs 233 Crore Projects in Katni, Boosts School Education
In a big boost for development in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav kicked off several key projects worth over Rs 233 crore during his visit to Katni district on Thursday. These initiatives aim to improve education and infrastructure for locals.
One of the highlights was the inauguration of a brand-new school building in Badwara town under the state’s ‘Sandipani Vidyalaya’ scheme. This modern facility comes packed with labs and smart classrooms to give students a top-notch learning experience. Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Uday Partap Singh, Vijayraghogarh MLA Sanjay Pathak, and other BJP leaders joined the event to celebrate.
Speaking at the ceremony, CM Yadav urged school kids to build their future on knowledge and wisdom. He praised the BJP government’s efforts on school quality, saying, "No other state has government-run schools as advanced as those in Madhya Pradesh." He took a dig at the opposition Congress, pointing out how schools under their rule lacked basics. "Back then, students even had to bring their own mats to sit in class," Yadav added.
This school project actually started as ‘CM RISE’ during former CM and current Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s time. The current government renamed it ‘Sandipani Vidyalaya’, drawing inspiration from the ancient Sandipani Ashram in Hindu mythology.
Later, CM Yadav headed to Jabalpur district for more activities. He joined a cleanliness drive at Rani Durgavati Medical College as part of the ongoing ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ campaign. He also attended a solemn ‘martyrdom day’ event at a museum honoring tribal freedom fighters Raja Shankar Shah and his son Kunwar Raghunath Shah on their death anniversary. Yadav paid floral tributes to their statues and bowed in respect.
These moves show the Madhya Pradesh government’s focus on education, development, and honoring local heroes. Stay tuned for more updates on CM Mohan Yadav’s initiatives.
