PM Modi’s 75th Birthday Gift: Ancient Lord Varaha Idol from Madhya Pradesh CM
On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave him a special present—a stunning 10th-century idol of Lord Varaha. This happened during PM Modi’s visit to Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.
In Hindu mythology, Lord Varaha is the boar avatar of Lord Vishnu. The story goes that he used his powerful tusks to dive into the ocean, defeat a demon, and lift the Earth back to safety. This avatar stands for divine strength, protection, and restoring balance in the universe.
CM Yadav handed over the ancient idol as he welcomed PM Modi to the event. There, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the ‘PM MITRA Park’—a major push for textile and apparel growth in the region. He also kicked off several social welfare schemes to boost local development.
Speaking to a huge crowd of farmers and women, CM Yadav praised PM Modi as a world-class leader. He highlighted how Modi has changed India over the last 11 years with bold reforms and people-focused policies.
PM Modi stole the show with an emotional call to action. He urged women across India—moms and sisters everywhere—to join free health check-up camps happening nationwide. "Your health is priceless, and the government will cover every expense," he said, stressing how women’s well-being builds strong families and a powerful nation.
This health drive runs until Vijayadashami on October 2, making it a key part of women’s health initiatives in India. At the same event, PM Modi launched the eighth edition of Nutrition Month, a nationwide effort to cut maternal and infant mortality rates. He revealed that more than 6.5 crore pregnant women have benefited so far, with Rs 19,000 crore sent straight to their bank accounts.
In one big move that day, over Rs 450 crore reached more than 15 lakh women with just a single click—showing the government’s fast-track support for maternal welfare programs.
PM Modi also took steps to fight genetic diseases in tribal areas. He distributed the Aradhna Kanlmi Sickle Cell genetic counselling card to help prevent sickle cell anemia, a common issue in these communities.
The day wrapped up with PM Modi paying respects to Vagdevi at Dhar’s Bhojshala and Lord Vishwakarma, celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage and bringing people together in unity.
This birthday visit in Madhya Pradesh not only marked a personal milestone for PM Modi but also spotlighted key government pushes like PM MITRA Park, women’s health camps, and tribal welfare schemes.
