Corruption in transfers is Dotasara’s true identity: Rajasthan Education Minister

In Jaipur on October 1, Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar fired strong criticism at Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra, calling him out for corruption and hypocrisy in Rajasthan politics.

Dilawar responded sharply to Dotasra’s recent comments, even noting it was his birthday. “Only Govind Dotasra can spread lies and deceit on his own birthday,” Dilawar said. He slammed Congress politics as a mix of corruption and double standards.

Dilawar pointed to the previous Congress government, when the Education Department became a hotspot for scams, especially in teacher transfers. “Dotasra turned the Education Department into a den of plunder,” he claimed, adding that officials openly sold transfer postings under his watch.

He recalled a Teachers’ Day event under then-Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, where teachers directly told the CM that people demanded money for transfers. “Dotasra’s arrogance should have ended that day,” Dilawar added.

Things look different now under the BJP government led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Dilawar said. All teacher transfers happen with full transparency and based on merit. “The BJP stays committed to clean governance in Rajasthan,” he emphasized.

Dilawar also accused Dotasra of real frustration over losing power—and the chance to make money. “His pain isn’t just the election loss; it’s missing out on profits. His politics always focused on cash and postings,” Dilawar said.

To back his claims, Dilawar referenced a Transparency International report that ranked Rajasthan as the top state for corruption in transfers during the Congress era.

Dilawar didn’t stop there. He hit back at Dotasra’s criticism of weapon worship, or Shastra Poojan, a traditional practice. “Demons fear weapons, and Congress gets uneasy about our traditions,” Dilawar retorted. “Weapon worship is a proud part of Indian culture, and it will go on no matter what Congress says.”

These sharp words from Dilawar highlight the growing tension between Rajasthan’s ruling BJP and opposition Congress, as both parties gear up for major elections ahead.
