Delhi Encounter Escalates to Mysterious Murder in Meerut

Delhi Crime Branch’s recent crackdown saw Hamza, a murder suspect from Meerut, taken down in an encounter in Rohini. Police fired three shots, one grazing his leg, and Hamza was rushed to the hospital.
The incident also involved a disturbing video that surfaced on social media, showing a man shot three times in the chest from close range. According to Deputy Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, the victim, Adil of Lisadi Gate, was later found dead in a jungle area, beaten and killed by associates of Hamza.

During interrogation, Hamza confessed to orchestrating the murder and admitted that he and his gang had killed Adil. He had a prior shooting incident in 2024, targeting a man named Wasi, who was left with a gunshot wound.

Security officials say Hamza’s close associate, Julkmar, was arrested after a firefight with Meerut Police, but Hamza managed to escape and remains at large.
