New Delhi, Oct 25 – The Delhi Police team at Seelampur Police Station closed a robbery case that started last month, arresting the thief and the person who took the phone, and reclaiming both the stolen mobile and the scooter used in the crime.

After the incident, sharp police work traced the culprits. Inspector Pankaj Kumar, the station head, led a focused investigation. He spotted a suspect named Dinesh, 23, from Bangar, and found the stolen phone in his pockets. When Dinesh told police he had bought the phone from another accomplice, the officers raided the cell of Paras, 29, from Geeta Colony. They nabbed Paras and seized the scooter — registration number DL‑5SDA‑1878 — that the robbers used to flee the scene.

Both men admitted the robbery. Authorities said Paras had a criminal past and was already linked to three previous cases, including theft and arms violations. He and Dinesh are now in custody while the team searches for a third accomplice who is still at large.
