On December 2, 2023, a wave of excitement swept through Bhagalpur, Bihar, as 34 teachers newly chosen through the BPSC TRE‑2 examination finally received their anticipated appointment letters. The venue buzzed with emotion—laughter, cheers, and a few tears—once the officials began handing out the documents.

District Magistrate Dr Nawal Kishore Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Singh, and District Education Officer Raj Kumar Sharma jointly presented the letters, marking a fresh start for the appointees. For many, this day was the culmination of two years filled with hope, uncertainty, and perseverance. As each name was called, faces lit up, and aspirations seemed to take flight.

Among the crowd was Shabbir Ahmad from Barahpura, his eyes misting as his daughter Reshma Shabbir stepped forward to collect her own appointment. “It feels like a dream,” he whispered, voice trembling. “We waited for this moment for so long. Today, Allah has fulfilled our prayers.” Nearby, father Mohammad Wahid grinned with relief. “My daughter has secured a job,” he said. “Now her future is secure—her marriage, her responsibilities, everything will fall into place.”

Reshma herself overflowed with joy. “This is the moment we prepared for, the moment we waited for,” she said. “I thank the Bihar government and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar from the bottom of my heart.” She was not alone in expressing gratitude; fellow new teachers Gaziya Parveen and Raja Kumar also thanked the government for realizing their long‑standing dreams.

The officials present extended heartfelt congratulations and encouraging words, urging the new educators to serve with dedication and help shape the future of Bihar’s children. “We wish all of you a bright future,” said DEO Raj Kumar Sharma. “May you excel in your duties and contribute meaningfully to the education system.”
