School students from across Delhi flocked to the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Monday for a special exhibition spotlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life, journey, and key contributions to India. The event gave young visitors a fresh look at the nation’s recent history and leadership style.
The exhibition, called “Service is the Resolve, India First the Inspiration – 75 Years, An Experience and An Exhibition,” highlighted Modi’s dedication to public service and a nation-first approach. Officials say it offered students a fun way to connect with these ideas and get inspired.
Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht led the groups through the displays and gave them a tour of the historic Assembly building. Kids from schools like Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Veer Savarkar Complex School in Karawal Nagar, GSKV PSP-10 Industrial Area in Kirari (Delhi-86), and several other public schools joined the guided visits.
The students dove into the exhibits with real enthusiasm, picking up lessons on service, hard work, and putting India first—core parts of Modi’s vision. One highlight was a screening of the short film “Chalo Jeete Hai,” which shares stories from Modi’s childhood and early years, showing his roots in simplicity and perseverance.
By the end, the kids felt motivated and ready to embrace public service values. The Delhi Legislative Assembly Secretariat notes that trips like this build patriotism and civic know-how in the next generation, while introducing them to India’s democratic setup.
Assembly leaders stressed how these visits spark leadership qualities and a strong sense of duty to the country. They plan to keep hosting similar events to boost awareness, patriotism, and active citizenship among Delhi’s youth.
Just a few days earlier, on September 26, the Assembly held a floral tribute to mark the 152nd birth anniversary of Vithalbhai Jhaverbhai Patel, India’s first elected Speaker of the Central Legislative Assembly, and the 118th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
