BJP Plans Special Birthday Celebrations for PM Modi in Bihar
In Patna, Bihar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) gears up for an exciting tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on September 17. The party will screen the inspiring film Chalo Jeete Hai—a story based on PM Modi’s childhood struggles—in all 243 assembly constituencies across Bihar.
This isn’t just a movie night; it’s part of a vibrant two-week Sewa Pakhwada starting soon. Expect blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, exhibitions highlighting PM Modi’s achievements, and lively public discussions. These events aim to spread awareness about government initiatives and inspire communities.
To make the film screenings happen, BJP has outfitted 243 special vehicles with LED screens—one for each constituency. Union Minister Nityanand Rai kicked things off by flagging off these vehicles in Patna on Tuesday. Speaking at the event, Rai shared, "We’re using these 243 LED-equipped vehicles to show Chalo Jeete Hai, which captures the real story of PM Modi’s childhood. He faced poverty, watched his mother wash dishes in others’ homes, and worked tirelessly. PM Modi truly understands the struggles of the poor, and that empathy still drives him today."
BJP Bihar president Dilip Jaiswal joined the launch and told reporters, "We’re celebrating PM Modi’s birthday with this Sewa Pakhwada. Today, we flagged off vehicles that will bring his childhood story of overcoming poverty to every corner of Bihar. It’s a powerful reminder of his journey."
Directed by Mangesh Hadawale, the short film Chalo Jeete Hai draws from Swami Vivekananda’s famous quote: "Wahi jeete hain, jo doosro ke liye jeete hain" (Only those who live for others truly live). It follows a young boy inspired by these words and has even bagged a National Award for Best Non-Feature Film.
Preparations for the 15-day Sewa Pakhwada are buzzing with energy. BJP workers are setting up blood donation camps to help thousands, along with cleanliness drives and exhibitions showcasing national progress under PM Modi. BJP national general secretary Sunil Bansal added, "We’re going all out to ensure lakhs of people benefit from these camps during the celebrations."
This initiative highlights PM Modi’s inspiring life story while promoting community service across Bihar, making his birthday a statewide event of reflection and action.
