From PM Modi’s birthday to Gandhi Jayanti, nation to observe ‘Seva Paksha’: Mansukh Mandaviya

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced an exciting ‘Seva Paksha’ or Service Fortnight in India, running from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17 to Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2. This special period will see the entire country and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) focusing on service and nation-building, straight from PM Modi’s inspiring vision.
Mandaviya shared these details while kicking off the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s (BJYM) Namo Yuva Run campaign at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. “In his 11 years as Prime Minister, PM Modi has transformed India with his bold ideas and actions. The nation is now charging ahead, building a stronger New India,” he said.
He pointed out recent big wins, like PM Modi’s move just three days ago to simplify GST rates, mainly to 5% and 18% slabs, making life easier for everyone. Mandaviya also joined the popular ‘Sunday on Cycle’ fitness drive this morning, which has grown to over 8,000 spots across India, with more than 50 MPs joining in to promote health and activity.
To celebrate PM Modi’s 75th birthday, BJYM plans massive Namo Yuva Runs in 75 cities nationwide. Each event will draw 10,000 to 15,000 young participants, adding up to nearly 1 million youth running together at the same time. BJYM President and MP Tejasvi Surya called it India’s biggest and most energetic youth run ever, all aimed at boosting fitness, fighting addiction, and embracing the Swadeshi spirit.
The fun doesn’t stop at India’s borders—the Indian diaspora will organize Yuva Runs in 75 cities worldwide too, spreading the energy globally.
Mandaviya added a heartfelt touch: “On his birthday, while the country wants to gift PM Modi something special, he urges everyone to pledge their duty to the nation. The Namo Yuva Run is our way of supporting his vision of a fit and united India.”
Actor and fitness star Milind Soman, the campaign’s brand ambassador, couldn’t hide his excitement. “I’m thrilled about this initiative. It empowers the youth and pushes fitness forward—I hope we see more like it,” he said.
This Namo Yuva Run campaign ties perfectly into BJP’s youth engagement efforts and PM Modi’s focus on health and self-reliance, making it a must-watch for anyone interested in India’s fitness movement and national service programs.
