IndiGo Flight from Lucknow to Delhi Faces Technical Glitch Before Takeoff

Passengers on an IndiGo flight from Lucknow to Delhi got a scare on Sunday when their plane hit a technical snag right before takeoff. The flight, numbered 6E-2111, safely returned to the bay at Lucknow airport. Crew members quickly deboarded everyone as a safety step, and IndiGo arranged a replacement aircraft to get passengers to Delhi without much hassle.

Sources close to the incident say the airline acted fast to keep things smooth. No one got hurt, and the focus stayed on passenger safety amid the unexpected delay.

SpiceJet’s Kathmandu Flight Leaves Over 100 Passengers Stranded at Delhi Airport

Just a few days earlier, on Thursday morning, more than 100 travelers on a SpiceJet flight to Kathmandu faced big disruptions at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. Flight SG41, set to leave at 8:10 AM, got pushed back to 9:30 AM due to a technical issue.

An video journalist who was on board shared the tough experience. The plane taxied onto the runway but stopped without any updates from the crew. Inside, the air conditioning failed, leaving passengers sweating and stuck for over an hour. Finally, the aircraft headed back to the parking bay, where the team explained the technical snag. Everyone had to get off and wait in a bus nearby.

SpiceJet confirmed the problem and said they’re working hard to fix it. Delays like this highlight the importance of quick fixes in aviation safety.

IndiGo Resumes Flights to Kathmandu with Special Relief Options

In related news, IndiGo has good updates for travelers heading to or from Kathmandu. The airline kicked off its regular flights to the Nepalese capital on September 11, with four daily round trips now running smoothly.

To help those stuck due to recent issues, IndiGo also launched two special relief flights on the same day, pending approvals from regulators. These come at affordable fares to make it easier for passengers to get home.

"Our top goal right now is to bring families back together," IndiGo said in a statement. "We’re excited to resume these four daily flights to and from Kathmandu, plus the extra relief options to ensure safe travels."

These moves show airlines stepping up amid technical challenges and travel disruptions. If you’re planning a trip to Delhi, Lucknow, or Kathmandu, keep an eye on flight status for the latest IndiGo and SpiceJet updates.
