Jharkhand Government Boosts Social Media for Quick Grievance Redressal

Hey folks, imagine sharing your everyday problems on social media and getting them fixed super fast by the government. That’s exactly what the Jharkhand government is rolling out to make life easier for its people. In a big step towards better public service, they’re turning social media into a powerful tool for handling complaints and helping those in need.

State Revenue and Transport Minister Deepak Birua dropped this exciting update on Sunday via the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He shared that the government is upgrading its system so that any genuine issues posted online go straight to the right departments, ministers, or even Chief Minister Hemant Soren himself. No more waiting around – this move promises quick action and full transparency in how things get resolved.

Birua encouraged everyone in Jharkhand to use social media wisely for real problems. "Just tag the relevant department or the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) when you post, and we’ll jump on it," he said. But he also had a tip: avoid spamming the same issue over and over. If someone’s already raised a concern, like or comment to support it instead. "This keeps things clear and helps us act faster without any mix-ups," the minister explained.

What’s cool is that Birua highlighted Jharkhand as the first state in India where a Chief Minister is using social media so effectively for public welfare. He pointed out that over the past few years, thousands of grievances have been sorted out thanks to direct help from CM Hemant Soren. Now, the government wants to take this digital grievance redressal system to the next level, so more people can benefit from real-time solutions right from their phones.

In his words, "By embracing social media in a positive way, the Jharkhand government is starting a fresh chapter in delivering top-notch services to citizens." This initiative could set a great example for other states looking to improve public grievance redressal through social media. If you’re in Jharkhand facing any issue, why not give it a try? Stay tuned for more updates on how this unfolds!
