Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off a big moment for India’s BJP party on Monday by inaugurating its shiny new state office in Delhi. The event, held at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, drew cheers from party leaders who see it as a boost for their work on public service, social welfare, and strong governance.
BJP President and Union Minister JP Nadda couldn’t hide his excitement. “Today is a joyful day for us all,” he said. “After a long wait, Delhi BJP finally has its own office, and it’s the Prime Minister who cut the ribbon. He’s always been there for us, guiding the party whenever we needed him.”
The new headquarters replaces rented spaces and comes packed with modern perks like advanced communication tools, meeting rooms, and areas for planning party events. Leaders say it will serve as a central hub for workers in the national capital, helping them coordinate better and stay inspired.
Union Minister SP Singh Baghel praised the Delhi BJP workers, calling the city a key player in the party’s history. “This office marks a big win for everyone,” he said. “Delhi has fueled major movements and helped form governments—like Modi’s third term at the center, Vajpayee’s two stints, and now BJP’s return to power here after 27 years. It’s thanks to four generations of dedicated workers.”
Delhi minister Kapil Mishra highlighted how the building ties into the city’s vibe. “We’ve waited a long time for this, and with a BJP government in place, it’ll play a huge role,” he noted.
BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri went bigger, reminding everyone of Delhi’s special spot. “Delhi is India’s heart, and the Prime Minister made that clear to our workers,” he said. “Our strength lies in unity amid diversity. India must lead the world and become a top nation, so BJP members have an even greater duty to push for good governance and welfare.”
BJP MLA Anil Sharma pointed out the shift to a permanent home. “Before, we relied on government buildings,” he said. “Now, thanks to PM Modi, we have our own Delhi state office. The whole unit is grateful.”
The ceremony started with a traditional havan led by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Other top attendees included BJP President JP Nadda, along with leaders like Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ashish Sood, Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, Harsh Malhotra, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Yogender Chandolia, and Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva.
Gupta stressed the office’s roots in public donations, calling it a true sign of BJP as a service-focused group. Sood added that the space will motivate workers to keep serving the people.
BJP swept to power in Delhi back in February, ending a 27-year gap. This new office looks set to fuel their momentum in the capital and beyond.
