K.T. Rama Rao Slams Congress Government Over Group-I Job Scam in Telangana

Hyderabad: In a fiery attack on the Congress government in Telangana, BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao has accused them of betraying thousands of unemployed youth by "selling" Group-I government jobs. Speaking out on Thursday, KTR demanded an immediate judicial probe into these serious allegations of corruption in the Telangana Group-I recruitment process.

KTR didn’t hold back his anger towards state ministers and the Chief Minister’s Office. He pointed to growing complaints from students who claim they had to pay huge amounts of money just to secure these coveted jobs. "The state government has auctioned these jobs in the open market," KTR said in a strong statement. This, he argued, has crushed the dreams of lakhs of aspirants who poured years into preparing for competitive exams, spending their time and their parents’ hard-earned money.

The BRS leader urged the Congress government to respond right away to the charges raised by Group-I candidates in the media. Reports suggest crores of rupees have exchanged hands for these posts, turning what should be a fair opportunity into a nightmare for job seekers.

KTR highlighted the Telangana High Court’s earlier orders and called for a fresh, transparent Group-I preliminary exam with no room for irregularities. He wants a judicial commission to dig deep into this "large-scale malpractice" and expose those responsible for selling government jobs in Telangana.

Not stopping there, KTR pushed for a special session of the Telangana Assembly to debate the entire Group-I scam and make the Congress government answer for its failures. "Only a full judicial inquiry and a clean re-exam can bring justice to our unemployed youth and stop such scandals from happening again," he stressed.

KTR accused the Congress of messing up the Group-I examinations badly, leaving the future of young jobless people in limbo. "Their incompetence mixed with greed for money caused all this," he charged. In a dramatic line, he said, "By selling jobs, Congress has slit the throats of the unemployed."

Looking back, KTR contrasted this mess with the BRS government’s time in power, when he claimed recruitments happened smoothly and transparently without any such controversies. "Now, Congress has turned job recruitment into a dirty business, pocketing crores for posts," he warned. He added that the youth of Telangana will never forgive this massive betrayal.

KTR also reminded the government of its big election promise: delivering two lakh jobs within one year. He demanded they call a special Assembly session to discuss why that hasn’t happened and tackle the unemployment crisis head-on. "Stop giving empty promises to our youth and take real action," he urged, calling for sincerity over deception.

As the row over the Telangana Group-I job scam heats up, all eyes are on how the Congress government responds to these demands for accountability and justice.
