Tragic Bus Accident in Lucknow’s Kakori Raises Death Toll to Five

A heartbreaking bus crash in Lucknow’s Kakori area has claimed five lives, with several passengers still fighting for recovery in hospitals. The incident unfolded on Thursday when a Uttar Pradesh State Roadways bus lost control, veered off a bridge, and plunged into a deep ditch along the highway.

Eyewitnesses and officials say the bus was heading from Hardoi to Lucknow with a group of passengers on board. The sudden plunge sent shockwaves through the area, but quick action from local authorities helped save many lives. Police, fire teams, and emergency responders from Malihabad and nearby stations rushed to the Kakori bus accident site, pulling out the injured and rushing them to medical care.

Lucknow District Magistrate Vishak G confirmed the details to reporters. "The bus fell into a ditch on the highway while en route to Lucknow," he said. "Our teams immediately evacuated everyone and took the injured to KGMC Trauma Centre and CHC Kakori for urgent treatment." So far, five people have died in this devastating Uttar Pradesh bus accident, and medical staff are doing everything to help the survivors.

The Uttar Pradesh roadways bus accident has drawn swift attention from the top. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stepped in right away, ordering officials to speed up rescue operations and ensure top-notch care for the injured.
