In the early hours of Monday, a fire erupted in a cloth market in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. The blaze started in a warehouse above Yashopant Saral and quickly spread to a shop selling plastic and Diwali‑decor items.

Local police and emergency services responded fast. Three fire brigades and two fire‑tanker trucks arrived on the scene to fight the flames. The machinery was still in the warehouse when the fire broke out, so no customers or workers were hurt.

Guna SDM Shivani Pandey said police got the warning about an hour before the fire began. She confirmed that the fire crews worked hard to shut off the flames. As a safety precaution, the electricity supply to the area was turned off.

Investigators are now looking into how the fire started. At the time, the warehouse was empty, which helped keep the incident from causing casualties. Firefighters are still on the job, working to make sure all fire is fully extinguished and that nothing else burns.
