New Delhi, Nov 14 – The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in India celebrated a clear win in the recent Bihar Assembly elections, saying the results are a vote for progress and a rejection of “false narratives” from the opposition.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said the eye‑watering victory shows how confident people are in the BJP‑led coalition. “It’s a win for development and trust. It slams the mislead‑the‑public tactics of those who spread lies, and it ends the era of jungle raj,” he told .

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj echoed the same message, thanking voters for turning away from the “politics of lies” of Congress and RJD. He called the result a sign that voters are looking beyond caste lines and instead backing leaders who promise growth.

Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra shared that the mandate signals Bihar’s move past caste math. “The people placed faith in Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar,” he said.

Delhi Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht added that the verdict reflects the state’s success in battling lawlessness and restoring order.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke about the triumph. Addressing supporters at the BJP headquarters, he said the NDA’s performance was a clear rebuke of the “jungle raj” and the appeasement approach of the Mahagathbandhan parties. Modi highlighted a two‑fold request he made to Biharis: cast record‑breaking votes and give the NDA a strong mandate. “The people have listened and delivered a massive victory,” he said.

He criticised the so‑called Muslim‑Yadav (MY) partnership promoted by the Rashtriya Janata Dal. Instead, he said, youth and women in Bihar have carved their own path, giving a new spin to the MY label. “Their hopes have outgrown the old alignment pushed by other parties,” Modi added.

The vast win underscores a broader national trend: voters increasingly prioritise development over identity politics, and Bihar’s endorsement of the NDA could boost the coalition’s position in upcoming national elections.
