Bhopal, Oct 9 – The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) is gearing up for its biggest travel event of the year. From October 11 to 13, the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre will host Travel Mart 2025, an all‑in‑one trade show that will bring together more than 700 people, including 80+ foreign tour operators from 27 countries.

Travel Mart 2025 will showcase the full range of Madhya Pradesh’s attractions. Attendees can explore heritage sites, wildlife safaris, rural culture, local handicrafts, regional cuisine and even film‑tourism opportunities—all under one roof. More than 120 stalls will feature handloom products and live demonstrations of renowned Gond Art and Chanderi saree weaving.

The event will connect key players in the tourism sector—hoteliers, tour operators, homestay owners, and other sellers—with domestic and international buyers. “Our goal is to boost tourist arrivals and open up new economic pathways while creating jobs for local communities,” said Sheo Shekhar Shukla, the MPTB’s head and Additional Chief Secretary for Tourism.

Cultural highlights include a 40‑minute group dance performance choreographed by celebrated artist Maitreyee Pahari, a show by the famous Maihar Band, and folk and tribal dances that showcase the state’s rich traditions. Visitors will also taste authentic Madhya Pradesh cuisine and experience local folk culture.

In addition to the trade show, Travel Mart 2025 will host international conferences and roundtable sessions for government‑to‑government dialogue (G2G) and government‑to‑business meetings (G2B). Participants from the Ministry of Tourism and various state tourism departments will discuss investment promotion, new project agreements, and collaborative initiatives under the State Film Policy.

Bhopal’s Travel Mart 2025 promises a dynamic platform for tourism stakeholders to network, learn, and grow together. The event is a key opportunity for the state to showcase its diverse tourism offerings and attract visitors from around the world.
