Amaravati, Nov. 14 – Andhra Pradesh’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary, Nara Lokesh, celebrated the early results of the Bihar Assembly polls, calling the National Democratic Alliance’s (“NDA”) lead a “Na‑Ni magic.”
Lokesh posted on social media, “Congratulations to CM Nitish Kumar on the NDA’s landslide victory in Bihar. It’s the Na‑Ni magic at work – a resounding vote of confidence in PM Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership and Nitish Kumar’s trusted governance.”
The Human Resources Development Minister had campaigned heavily for the NDA in Bihar, urging voters to give the alliance a fresh mandate. “Only a double‑engine government can keep the state moving forward,” he told reporters at a press conference in Patna on the last day of the second phase of the election.
Lokesh warned that a change in leadership could derail Bihar’s rapid development. “The plane is on the runway, and it’s time for take‑off,” he said. “Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can together fulfill Bihar’s vision. Let’s give us a fifth term, and we will keep building.”
He cited “jungle raj” before Nitish Kumar’s tenure and praised the growth that has followed since the NDA’s arrival. Industrialists in Patna praised the government’s policies, and he noted that Bihar now receives the second‑largest budget allocation in the Union Budget—only after Andhra Pradesh.
“For three reasons, we must secure the NDA’s win in Bihar,” Lokesh added: the party’s leadership track record, the double‑engine partnership, and the need for continuity.
The TDP’s message echoes a broader push for stable governance across India, with the NDA’s performance in Bihar seen as a bellwether for its future electoral prospects.
