Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai didn’t hold back on Friday when he slammed the Bihar Congress for releasing an AI-generated video that mocks Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother. He called it a shocking insult, planned under the directions of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav.

Rai pointed out how the Congress and RJD keep attacking the Prime Minister and his family, showing their arrogance toward Bihar’s people. “India’s respected Prime Minister and his revered mother face constant insults from Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav. Remember the Ghuspathiya Bachao Yatra? They hurled abuses then, and now they’ve sunk even lower by targeting the PM’s mother. But Bihar’s people will set them straight, just like they did before,” Rai said.

Drawing from history, the former Bihar BJP president and Ujiarpur MP reminded everyone of the massive movement against the Emergency led by Jay Prakash Narayan. “If Rahul Gandhi knows his history, he should recall how Bihar sparked the revolution that kicked Congress out of power,” he added.

Rai went straight after Tejashwi Yadav too. “If Tejashwi truly cared about Bihar, he’d have cut ties with Congress after their Kerala unit insulted Biharis. But he stayed quiet. It proves Bihar’s honor means nothing to him. In truth, Rahul Gandhi is just Tejashwi’s pawn, and Tejashwi has made a business out of insulting Biharis.”

He warned the INDIA bloc leaders: “Keep insulting Bihar’s 14 crore people, and you’ll face the consequences. Tejashwi’s style is all about abuse, family favoritism, and thuggery. In contrast, the NDA focuses on development and building a stronger Bihar.”

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary jumped in with strong words. “Congress has hit rock bottom with this meanness. Using AI to disrespect the Prime Minister’s late mother shows their twisted minds. This offends every mother in India, and Bihar never lets such insults slide.”

Cabinet Minister Santosh Singh agreed, saying, “Insulting Biharis is Congress and RJD’s specialty. But Bihar’s mothers will hit back hard in the 2025 elections. Everyone knows RJD is the root of corruption and kidnappings.”

So, what’s the video about? In this Bihar Congress clip, PM Modi says “vote chori has completed for the day” before heading to bed. Then comes a dream where his mother scolds him for making her wait in lines during demonetisation, filming reels of her while he washes her feet, and using her name for Bihar politics. It wraps up with her asking, “How much lower will you go for politics?”

This controversy hits hard right now, with Pitru Paksha rituals underway in Bihar and the Assembly election buzz heating up. NDA leaders, including BJP and JD(U), plan to push for a public apology, turning this into a major clash with the Congress-led INDIA bloc.
