Massive Crowds Flock to Gujarat’s Ambaji Temple Fair, Wins Praise from CM Bhupendra Patel

In a vibrant celebration of faith and devotion, over 40 lakh devotees from across India and the world gathered at the famous Goddess Ambaji temple in Gujarat’s Banaskantha district. This huge turnout at the recent Maa Ambaji mela has caught everyone’s attention, and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel couldn’t stop praising the smooth organization of the event.

The CM shared his joy on social media platform X, calling the Bhadravi Poonam Mahamela a stunning mix of power, devotion, and nature. "Like every year, this year’s grand divine fair at Maa Ambaji Shaktipeeth went off without a hitch," he posted. He highlighted the impressive arrangements that made the event a success, thanks to the blessings of Maa Ambaji.

Logistics were on point, with the Gujarat State Transport Corporation running more than 13,500 trips using 1,000 buses to ferry devotees safely. Security took center stage too—over 5,000 police personnel stepped up, including quick response teams, bomb squads, horse-mounted units, and watchtowers to keep everyone safe.

Firefighters stayed ready for any emergencies, while 535 CCTV cameras kept a close watch on the crowds. Health services didn’t lag behind; treatment centers offered care to more than 3 lakh devotees, big and small needs covered.

Even the heavy rains couldn’t dampen spirits. CM Patel gave a special shoutout to sanitation workers for their dedication, sticking to their duties through the downpours to keep the site clean and welcoming.

Technology added a modern twist to the ancient rituals. Over 2 crore devotees tuned in online for darshan of Maa Amba, making the fair accessible to those who couldn’t make it in person. Lakhs of visitors also thrilled to a spectacular drone show and light display, featuring themes and songs that lit up the night sky.

Service camps were a hit, with around 5.5 lakh devotees grabbing free prasad. "Organizing such a massive event successfully is no small feat—I congratulate all devotees, the Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust, administration, charitable groups, and everyone involved," the CM added.

This year’s Maa Ambaji fair in Gujarat truly showed how devotion brings people together, blending tradition with top-notch planning. If you’re into spiritual events or Gujarat tourism, keep an eye on Ambaji temple for more such gatherings!
