Union Minister Piyush Goyal extended warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, praising him for a lifetime of selfless service to the nation. Speaking to on the eve of PM Modi’s birthday, Goyal highlighted how the Prime Minister has devoted his life entirely to public welfare without any personal gain. "I wish him the best and pray for his long, healthy life. He has always ensured that government schemes reach every corner of India," Goyal said.
Goyal also celebrated PM Modi’s remarkable journey, noting that he has served the country for 50 years and earned 27 international awards. "PM Modi is a popular and decisive leader who has dedicated his life to society and the nation," he added.
In a similar vein, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan offered prayers for PM Modi’s well-being. Speaking on behalf of the country, especially Odisha’s people, Pradhan invoked Lord Jagannath. "I pray for PM Modi’s long life. Under his leadership, India’s global dignity and respect have soared," Pradhan told , while extending his heartfelt wishes.
To mark PM Modi’s 75th birthday celebrations, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a 15-day nationwide campaign called Seva Pakhwada. Running from September 17 to October 2—starting on the Prime Minister’s birthday and ending on Gandhi Jayanti—the initiative includes blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and exhibitions showcasing the Modi government’s key achievements.
Union Minister Bhupender Yadav announced the campaign details, emphasizing community service as a tribute to PM Modi’s vision.
Adding to the festivities, the National Award-winning film Chalo Jeete Hain—a heartfelt tribute to Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy of living for others—gets a special re-release across India today. The movie captures the inspiring message: "Bas wahi jeete hain, jo doosron ke liye jeete hain" (Only those truly succeed who live for others).
