Prashant Kishor Fires Back at BJP and RJD Leaders During Bihar Badlaav Yatra Rally

Patna: Political strategist Prashant Kishor didn’t hold back during his Bihar Badlaav Jan Sabha rally at Charpokhari Block Office Ground in Agiaon Assembly constituency on Saturday. As part of his ongoing Bihar Badlaav Yatra, Kishor is ramping up efforts to build support for his party ahead of the high-stakes Bihar Assembly Elections.

After firing up the crowd, Kishor spoke to journalists and took sharp aim at BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal. He compared Jaiswal to a "jackal running towards the city before it dies," adding, "When tough times hit leaders like him, they pick fights with people like us. He’s jumping around now, but he’ll calm down soon." Kishor even alleged irregularities tied to Jaiswal, claiming, "People in Bettiah know about fake billing for municipal vehicles at his petrol pump—it’s all recorded. If I’m wrong, file a case and send me to jail. His party rules Bihar and Delhi, but he can’t touch me in seven lifetimes."

This comes after Jaiswal questioned Kishor on Friday, asking about the funding sources for his party, among other things.

Kishor didn’t spare Prime Minister Narendra Modi either. He slammed Modi’s upcoming visit to Purnea, calling it a waste of public money. "Every time the PM visits Bihar, we get nothing in return. Instead, hundreds of crores from poor taxpayers go down the drain. They use government teachers and vehicles to gather crowds, and then BJP leaders pat themselves on the back," Kishor said.

Switching to the opposition, Kishor took a sarcastic jab at RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s planned Yatra. "This is great news! At least it’ll get Tejashwi out of his house. That’s reason enough to celebrate," he quipped.

With the Bihar Assembly Elections heating up, Kishor’s bold statements are shaking up the political scene in the state, drawing eyes from all sides.
