Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya recently praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his strong commitment to public welfare in every policy he makes. Sharing his thoughts on social media platform X with the hashtag #MyModiStory, Mandaviya highlighted Modi’s smart vision for infrastructure development in India.

“In every meeting, PM Modi shares ideas that are practical and show his forward-thinking mindset,” Mandaviya said in a video post. He drew from his own experience as Minister of State for Road Transport to explain this.

Mandaviya recalled a key discussion on national highways where Modi made a deep point: “Roads and highways aren’t just for travel—they’re the lifeline of prosperity.” To make it clear, Modi used a simple example about farmers. “Imagine a farmer growing crops in his field. If a good road is nearby, he can quickly take his produce to the market. But if the road is far, especially for perishable items like vegetables, any delay can spoil everything and cause huge losses.”

Mandaviya went on to quote Modi further: “If roads reach the farmer’s village, he can easily move vegetables from the field to the village road, then hop on the highway to the district market. Without a road within 5 km, the farmer struggles—missing the market time means no fair price and big financial hits.”

“This focus on public welfare shines through in all of Modi’s policies—it’s his biggest strength,” Mandaviya added.

Born Narendra Damodardas Modi in Mehsana, Gujarat, he led the state as Chief Minister from 2001 to 2014. Today, he’s in his third term as India’s Prime Minister, driving major initiatives in infrastructure and development.

As Modi’s birthday approaches on September 17, the BJP and supporters mark it as ‘Sewa Diwas’ with welfare activities. This year, they’re kicking off a two-week ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ from September 17 to October 2, ending on the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

The events include blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, health check-ups, sports tournaments, and the exciting ‘Namo Yuva Run’ in 75 cities, expecting over 10,000 young participants in each. These efforts aim to boost community service and national pride.
