Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s health improves, likely to leave hospital soon
Good news for Punjab! Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is feeling better and is expected to be discharged from the private Fortis Hospital in Mohali soon.
Mann was admitted to the hospital on Friday evening after feeling very tired, experiencing a low heart rate, and having a high fever for two days. A medical report from the hospital confirmed that his condition has stabilized and he is under observation. His pulse rate has improved, and doctors are closely monitoring his health.
Due to his illness, the scheduled Cabinet meeting yesterday was canceled. Mann also had to cancel a last-minute visit to flood-hit villages along with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Mann had been touring flood-affected areas in Kapurthala district for several days without proper rest or meals, which likely contributed to his health issues.
Arvind Kejriwal shared that he visited Mann in the hospital and urged him to rest for two days. Despite feeling unwell, Mann’s main concern remained providing relief to flood-affected families in Punjab.
In response to the ongoing flood crisis, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has instructed the deployment of a government officer in every flood-hit village. This step aims to improve communication and coordination between local residents and the administration, ensuring the relief efforts continue smoothly.
