Rahul Gandhi will land in Bhopal on Saturday and head straight to the hill town of Pachmarhi, where the Congress party is running a week‑long training camp for its district presidents.
The senior opposition leader, who sits in the Lok Sabha, is due to arrive at Raja Bhoj Airport around 2:30 pm. From there he will reach Pachmarhi by about 3:30 pm.
After a brief meeting with Madhya Pradesh Congress leaders in Ravishankar Bhavan, Gandhi will join the camp at the MPT hotel. The five‑day training started on November 2 and will finish on November 12.
In the evening, he is set to speak to the district presidents at the camp and then dine with state officials, including the leaders he met earlier. He will stay overnight at Ravishankar Bhavan, taking a short break before heading back to Bhopal the next morning for the start of the Bihar election campaign.
The Congress sees district presidents as the backbone of its organization. These leaders link grassroots workers with state leadership, mobilize local cadres, shape campaign strategies and implement party directives on the ground. In a state where the party has recently struggled to regain ground, strengthening this network is essential.
Earlier on Friday, Rahul Gandhi rallied in Banka, Bihar, accusing the Modi government of “vote chori” (vote theft). He warned that Bihar voters would not tolerate a government built on stolen votes, citing new data that he said proved the allegations.
