Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma extended warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday during the BJP’s Seva Pakhwada event in Jaipur. The event kicked off a 15-day nationwide campaign to honor PM Modi’s contributions to India.
Sharma praised PM Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, launched on October 2, 2014, as a massive public movement that has transformed cleanliness habits across the country. “On behalf of the people of Rajasthan, I wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi good health and continued leadership for the nation,” Sharma told reporters. “We’re celebrating his birthday through Seva Pakhwada by spreading awareness about government schemes.”
Under this initiative, the Rajasthan government plans to reach every corner—urban and rural—to ensure even the last person in line benefits from welfare programs. Sharma highlighted PM Modi’s vision: no one should miss out on development schemes.
The Seva Pakhwada runs from September 17, PM Modi’s birthday, to October 2, Gandhi Jayanti. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and exhibitions nationwide to showcase central government achievements, including the Swachh Bharat Mission’s success.
Earlier, Sharma shared a heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter), calling PM Modi the “devoted worshiper of Mother India” and “architect of a developed India.” He wished him long life, good health, and endless prosperity, praying for India’s rising glory under his leadership and happiness for all citizens.
