NDA Workers’ Conference Heats Up Bihar Politics Ahead of Assembly Elections
In Begusarai, political excitement is building fast as Bihar’s Assembly elections approach in just a month. On Sunday, local MLA Kundan Kumar hosted a huge NDA workers’ conference at the Co-operative College campus. Thousands of supporters turned up, making it a buzzing event full of energy.
Senior NDA leaders like former Union Minister Ram Vilas Yadav and Bihar Road Construction Minister Nitin Nabin stole the show. The crowd gave them a roaring welcome, with chants of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram" filling the air. It felt like a real show of unity for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar.
During his speech, Ram Vilas Yadav took a strong dig at Opposition Leader Tejashwi Yadav. He called Tejashwi a "follower" of Rahul Gandhi, saying it was damaging his reputation. "Tejashwi is clapping behind Rahul Gandhi these days, and it’s ruining his image. We saw it all during the Voter Adhikar Yatra—Tejashwi driving the vehicle while Rahul enjoyed the ride," Yadav pointed out.
Yadav contrasted this with Lalu Prasad Yadav’s style. "Lalu was an ally of Congress but always stood on equal footing with their top leaders. He never acted like a sidekick," he added, drawing cheers from the audience.
Minister Nitin Nabin then highlighted the NDA government’s achievements under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He focused on Bihar’s road infrastructure improvements, which have transformed travel in the state. "Back in the day, the trip from Patna to Begusarai took a whopping 7 hours. Now, it takes just 2 hours thanks to better roads," Nabin said. He called this a clear sign that the old ‘Jungle Raj’ era is over, replaced by real development under NDA rule.
Nabin praised the progress in both rural and urban areas, noting four-lane highways and upcoming expressways with central government support. "Bihar’s road network has changed dramatically, making life easier for everyone," he emphasized.
The leaders urged NDA workers to stay united and work hard for a big win in the Bihar Assembly elections. They reminded everyone about the visible changes in infrastructure, roads, and governance. "People of Bihar have seen the development—now it’s time to vote for it and secure our future," they said, firing up the crowd to spread the message door-to-door.
