Jaipur, Oct 15 – The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) released the final results of the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination (RAS 2023) today. The exam, which began recruiting on June 28, 2023, will bring 972 new officers into state government roles.
Top performances from Ajmer and Nagaur
Ajmer district led the pack, sending three candidates into the top ten, and claiming the first, second and third overall spots. Nagaur also saw three candidates in the top ten. Other districts — Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Hanumangarh and Bikaner — each had one student in the top ten.
Meet the winners
Kushal Chaudhary of Dungaria Kalan village, Ajmer, topped the RAS‑2023 rankings. He is a lab assistant at a government school in Tabiji and lives in police line quarters. “My father is a farmer. I studied on my own and succeeded on my second attempt,” Kushal said. His family’s support was a key factor in his success.
Vikas Siyag from Kolayat, Bikaner, finished 10th. He works as a junior assistant at Gov’t Senior Secondary School, Ranjitpura. Vikas had cleared the 2021 prelims but missed the mains, so he gave it his all in 2023, and it paid off. He credits his parents, who manage farming and trucking duties, for their sacrifice: “I dedicate my success to my parents.”
Interview round and final results
In total, 2,188 candidates completed the interview stage on Oct 14. Results were released overnight on Oct 15.
Government response
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma praised the hardworking youth, saying they will help drive the state’s development. “The government is committed to providing timely and transparent employment opportunities to the youth,” he said.
These results highlight the growing opportunities within Rajasthan’s public service and the determination of candidates from across the state.
