Congress leader Sachin Pilot clarified that the person who made controversial remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother is not associated with the Congress party. He emphasized that matters related to parents are sensitive and should be respected by everyone.
After a recent Congress Legislature Party meeting, Pilot strongly condemned the use of abusive language. He explained, “Whoever made those remarks has nothing to do with our party. We believe politics should be respectful, and any inappropriate behavior should be addressed.” He also added that politics should focus on issues like development and unemployment, not personal attacks.
Pilot highlighted that topics such as unemployment, farmers’ problems, and development should be the main focus of political debates. He pointed out that Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been leading the state government for years and should be questioned on issues like unemployment and US tariffs.
Taking a swipe at the ruling BJP, Pilot criticized their approach of avoiding real issues. He said, “The government should be addressing important problems, like the floods, farmer losses, and disruptions in daily life, instead of sidestepping debates.”
The Congress leader assured that his party would raise these pressing concerns in the Assembly. “People elected us to represent their problems, and we will demand meaningful discussions in the House. The current government, whether at the center or in Rajasthan, needs to answer for its failure to deliver,” Pilot stated confidently.
