Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Madhya Pradesh tomorrow, and the excitement is building up across the state. Just a day before his arrival, PM Modi shared a special message on his official X account, ramping up the anticipation for his trip. People in Madhya Pradesh are eagerly waiting to see what new initiatives he’ll bring to boost development.
In his post, PM Modi said, “Tomorrow, our resolve for a developed India will gain new energy from Madhya Pradesh. I will inaugurate ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ (Healthy Women, Empowered Families) and the eighth ‘Rashtriya Poshan Maah’ campaigns from Dhar district. The programme will also include the launch of ‘Adi Seva Parva’ and PM MITRA Park.”
During his one-day visit on Wednesday, PM Modi will kick off several key projects. One highlight is laying the foundation stone for PM MITRA Park in Dhar – it’s the seventh such textile hub in India, designed to create jobs and boost the local economy. This move aligns perfectly with the vision for a developed Madhya Pradesh.
A massive health drive is also on the cards. From September 17 to October 2, over one lakh health camps will pop up nationwide – the biggest ever outreach for women and children. This ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ period will focus on women-centric health services right at the community level, including preventive care, early detection, and treatment for issues like non-communicable diseases, anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease.
The campaign will promote maternal and child health through antenatal care, immunisation, nutrition tips, menstrual hygiene education, and awareness on lifestyle and mental health. Expect yoga sessions, Ayurveda consultations, and other Ayush services to encourage healthy habits, with a big push on fighting obesity and improving nutrition.
At these camps, people can enroll in schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), Ayushman Vaya Vandana, and Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA). Helpdesks will handle card verifications and fix any grievances on the spot.
PM Modi will make things even easier by transferring funds directly to bank accounts of eligible women under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana with just one click. He’ll also launch the Suman Sakhi Chatbot, a handy tool to spread awareness on maternal and child health. It will deliver timely info to pregnant women, especially in rural and remote areas, helping them access vital services.
Adding to the tribal focus, PM Modi will launch ‘Adi Seva Parv’ as part of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan. This initiative celebrates tribal pride and nation-building, with special attention to the Tribal Village Action Plan and Tribal Village Vision 2030. These plans aim to create long-term development roadmaps for every tribal village.
In a touching gesture for women’s empowerment and the environment, PM Modi will gift a sapling to a beneficiary from a women’s self-help group under Madhya Pradesh’s ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ scheme.
This visit falls on PM Modi’s birthday, making it extra special for the state. Just like in 2022, when he released eight cheetahs at Kuno National Park on his 72nd birthday – a historic moment for wildlife conservation – this trip promises big wins. With projects like PM MITRA Park, Madhya Pradesh is gearing up for growth and progress.
