Hindu Saints and BJP Leaders Celebrate PM Modi’s 75th Birthday with Prayers and Praise
In Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday turned into a grand affair, drawing celebrations from BJP leaders, party workers, and ordinary citizens across India. But what stood out was the heartfelt involvement of Hindu saints and seers, who honored the occasion with special rituals and glowing tributes.
Jagatguru Mahant Balak Devacharya Maharaj led the way at a temple in Varanasi. He shared how he and his followers performed a Rudrabhishek ceremony using 1,108 lotus flowers – a symbol often linked to PM Modi and the BJP. "We offered these flowers and prayed for his long life," he said. Balak Devacharya praised Modi for his strong support of Sanatan Dharma, the ancient Hindu traditions. "Narendra Modi ji protects and promotes our culture, restores temples, and shares Indian heritage with the world. This makes the entire sadhu community proud of our roots."
He went on to highlight Modi’s unique contributions. "No other Prime Minister has done as much for Sanatan Dharma as PM Modi," Balak Devacharya added. From the grand Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor to the Kedarnath rebuild, Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Ujjain’s Mahakal temple, and aid for local shrines, Modi has transformed Hindu places of worship across India. These efforts have boosted temple tourism and preserved cultural heritage, drawing millions of devotees.
Balak Devacharya also commended Modi’s inclusive approach to development. "He takes everyone along and ensures progress for all," he noted. Government schemes like housing under PMAY and free rations via PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana reach the poor and needy without bias. "Even educated Muslims agree that these benefits arrive equally to them," he said.
Calling Modi a leader who brings strength, security, and dignity to India and its people, Balak Devacharya pointed to big wins under his watch. "From temple developments and new roads to ambitious space missions like Chandrayaan, India has soared to new heights."
Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti joined the birthday wishes, lauding Modi’s lifelong dedication. "Modi ji has given everything to society and the nation, with a clear goal of making India self-reliant or Atmanirbhar Bharat," she said. She highlighted the massive changes in Varanasi, Modi’s home turf, from improved infrastructure to cultural revivals. "Not just Kashi, the whole country has transformed. Happy birthday, Prime Minister!"
These celebrations reflect the deep respect PM Modi commands, especially in spiritual hubs like Varanasi, blending faith, culture, and national progress.
